AUGSBURG, MID 18TH CENTURY
The back plate decorated with a scene of the Holy Family and flanked by two cartouches of SS. Mark and Matthew; the water vessel with a hinged lid inscribed 'MARIA' and opening to reveal a scene of two men engulfed in flames; the reverse with two paper labels extensively inscribed; minor chips, cracks and a repair to the back plate.
