Designed as a black and gold floral tapestry bag, the gold frame decorated with engraved flower blossoms, to the sculpted gold pushpiece, set with a carved cabochon emerald, topped with a collet-set diamond, opening to reveal a single black satin compartment with six pockets, to the black and gold floral tapestry handle, mounted in gold, circa 1945, 8 1/8 x 7¾ ins.
