A DIAMOND AND GOLD TRAVEL WATCH, BY VAN CLEEF & ARPELS
Of rectangular outline, the gold box decorated with circular-cut diamonds, the reverse inscribed "Lord, I shall be very busy today, I may forget Thee, do not Thou forget me", opening to reveal a watch, with nickel-finished lever movement, the square dial with black Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, with baton chapters and blued-steel hands, mounted in gold and platinum, 1½ x 7/8 ins.
