This beautiful bracelet-watch is a successful marriage of the Belle Epoque and Art Deco styles. The central watch, enhanced by a delicate pâte-de verre cameo and green guilloché enamel surround, was made around 1915 by the house of Dreicer. Pâte de verre is a technique in which glass paste is pushed into a mold and fired in a kilm. The piece was likely reworked in the mid 1930's. The French manufacturer, Vever, added a rock crystal link bracelet of geometric design, rows of simulated and natural emeralds to create a bold new jewel from the original watch of an earlier era.
