Accompanied by an undated Franck Muller Certificate and leather envelope.
Franck Muller introduced the Imperial Tourbillon as a limited edition series in 1995, and it premiered with a minute-repeater complication in 1996. The design of this unique tourbillon includes a second hand over the cage, a unique attribution that Frank Muller patented. Also patented by Muller for the Imperial Tourbillon was the one-piece cage for the complication. Also unique to this tourbillon is its height in relation to the dial. As one of the few watchmakers to change the design of the tourbillon since its invention by Abraham-Louis Breguet in 1795, Franck Muller and the Imperial Tourbillon occupy a unique place in watchmaking history. The Tourbillon Imperial Minute Repeater was produced in a limited edition of 350 pieces.
