Calibre 10''' jewelled mechanical movment, Earnshaw balance, wolf's tooth winding wheels, gold cuvette, the cream-coloured enamel dial with painted blue dauphine numerals, outer railway minute track, gold rosace and Arabic five minute divisions, in four-part case with embossed vari-colour gold floral and foliage decoration throughout, the reverse centred by a raised polychrome enamel painted portrait of "Pompadour" surrounded by a diamond-set border, case, cuvette, dial and movement signed
