Lot Essay

With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1949 and its subsequent sale on June 24th of the same year.

To the best of our knowledge the present watch has never before been offered in public.

The reference 565 was available with either subsidiary or sweep center seconds. The model was launched in 1938 with the first series using the caliber 12-120. Production of the second series featuring the caliber 12 SC movement begining in 1942.
