Boal M Velho 1878
Rebottled in 2016 by GD. New wax caps. Fading old stencilling. Levels into neck.
M Velho stands for Muito Velho meaning very old. Tasting note: Very fine nose, softy sweet and aromaticly styled, honey cake, some etheral, wax, smoked almonds, pure and intreaging. Elegant and layered. As if dancing in your glass.Well balanced appearance, the taste is exactly as the nose promises. Elegant fine softly sweet, raisins, honey cake (great Madeiran specialty), soft acidity in harmony with the rich mouth feel. A very good Bual on the finesse. February 2016. EV.
