LATE CLASSICAL PERIOD, CIRCA LATE 4TH CENTURY B.C.
Formed of a single heavy sheet, the domed crown with tall crest-holder, short flaring neck-guard, helmet and hinged cheekpieces edged with a separately-applied moulded band, similar separately-applied brows terminating in buds, rivet with attachment ring at front, two attachment sockets on either side, neck-guard and both cheekpieces pierced once
