With tapering single-edged fullered blade double-edged towards the point, iron hilt of three bars decorated with fluted bands, pivoting scrolled guard fitted between the quillon-block and the central bar, short rear quillon with shell finial, spirally fluted globular pommel, and grip bound with wire interspersed with silver bands; the second narrow tapering blade with short quillon on each side bearing the legend 'ANDREA FERARA', hilt of slender scrolled bars, worn leather-covered grip
