ALDRIN’S SPACEWALK – ALDRIN, Buzz (b. 1930). Photograph signed.
The first Space selfie: Aldrin photographs himself during a spacewalk.
SIGNED and INSCRIBED: “Gemini XII, EVA Self Portrait, Buzz Aldrin.”
Buzz Aldrin takes a photograph of himself during one of his three Gemini 12 EVAs, or spacewalks, of November 1966. Little did he know that some 50 years later, the proliferation of smart phone cameras would allow earth-bound humans to do the same during everyday events.
