Ink and watercolor on board of 15 of her recognizable animal characters including an elephant, a giraffe, a pig, a lion, a rabbit and a mouse, each holding a round balloon with "Get into books" in block letters (save for one character, a turkey, holding a square "Watch T.V." balloon). Image 169 x 724 mm; Sheet 355 x 763 mm. Signed lower right. Overlay with printer's instructions in ink.
Boynton's cheeky scene was the Children's Book Week streamer in 1983, representing the theme "Get into Books".
