2 volumes in one, 8º (209 x 144mm). (Repaired tears in the margins of the first few leaves, occasional marginal dampstain, occasional light spotting, light wear in the last leaf, pen mark on the fore edge.) Original maroon cloth, the spine and upper side blocked in gilt, the sides with a decorative border in black on the upper side and blind on the lower side (rebacked preserving the original spine, endpapers renewed, light rubbing and light soiling).
FIRST EDITION, IN THE ORIGINAL CLOTH. ABPC and AE record no other copy in cloth having been offered at auction. Kilgour 282.
