FIRST EDITION OF FAULKNER'S FIRST NOVEL. Faulkner's first novel was published through his association with Sherwood Anderson and his intervention with his publisher, Boni & Liveright. The World War I novel met with some favorable reviews as an experimental novel by unknown writer, but failed to sell well. VERY RARE IN DUST JACKET. Petersen A2.1.
