Persian manuscript on paper, consisting of 411ff. plus 17 fly-leaves, each folio with 19ll. of elegant black nasta'liq divided into four columns with gold intercolumnar rules, headings in red, text within gold, red and blue ruled panels, opening bifolium with gold and polychrome illumination, following bifolium with gold and polychrome floral illuminated margins and heading, two further gold and polychrome illuminated headpieces within text, bound in two volumes in later bindings
