a 12in. (30.5 cm.) white enamel dial with black Roman numerals, and blackened hands, signed Chelsea Clock Co./Boston, with a model "A" regulator movement, serial number 33628 within a mahogany case with spring loaded release buttons for the face and lower door, a window to the pendulum, the back of the case is stamped with crest of the Portsmouth Navy Yard - the fouled anchor with the initials PNY, and further marked with a brass plaque "Navy Yard/61-098/Portsmouth, NH".
33¼ x 16¼ in. (84.5 x 41.3 cm.) height x diameter.

This was one of the most popular of the Chelsea clocks made between 1907 and 1930. According to factory records, this clock was originally sold to the Maine dealer Perkins & Sadler on April 12th 1922.
