Lot Essay

The second study was acquired as a work by an artist in the circle of Roelof de Vries, though Professor Held's initial impression was that it was a work by Roelant Savery, and he later thought it was by Waterloo.
Professor Held initially thought the Dahlstein was by Abraham Delfos, but it is much closer to Dahlstein.
