Lot Essay

A preparatory study for T. Salmon, Lo Stato presente di tutti i paesi e popoli del mondo, 2nd ed., Venice, circa 1740-1761, XVIII, pl. 286. The name of the engraver is unknown. This sheet formed part of a group of drawings related to this project which were sold in 40 lots in 1968.
