Comparable to drawings by Jan Erasmus Quellinus formerly in the Weld-Blundell Collection, now at the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool (X. Brooke, Mantegna to Rubens, the Weld-Blundell drawings collection, London, 1998, p. 132, nos. 72 and 73). Also known as Jan Seederboom, Jan Erasmus Quellinus was the son of the Flemish painter Erasmus Quellinus II.
