This example differs from the standardised version of the form by virtue of a reduced area of caning to the seat, and by the application of spandrels to the juncture of the legs and seat. These modifications are consistent with the alterations undertaken to those examples that were utilised in the high-traffic public areas of the Palacio da Alvorada, Brasilia.
