    The first late 18th Century, the second circa 1860
    The first with turn-off cannon barrel (lug missing), octagonal breech, rounded lock, moulded walnut half-stock (cracked) carved with a floral spray behind the barrel tang, and shaped iron mounts including spurred pommel (some surface pitting, one side-nail missing); the second with rifled twist barrel, one-piece patent breech and tang, scroll engraved lock and mounts, walnut half-stock, and chequered butt with scroll engraved butt-trap (ramrod missing), Liège proof
