    Treble-grip action-body, the fences chiselled in relief with stylized oak leaves and acorns, the action, lockplates and furniture engraved with bold foliate-scrolls on a matt ground, with some hardening-colour, the maker's signature gold-inlaid on the lockplates, cocking-indicators, rolled-edge triggerguard, highly figured stock with ebonite extension, the chopper-lump barrels with three-quarter raised matt ribs
