MARK OF IM (script) & PSEUDO OPORTO MARK, RIO DE JANEIRO, CIRCA 1855,
Modelled as an allegorical figure of "Hope", holding an anchor in one hand & in the other a cornucpia of flowers aloft, atop a pedestal on circular base with gallery sides of quatrefoil motifs, raised on three pierced bracket feet, 5½ in. high (14 cm.), 4.75 oz.
