With rebrowned twist sighted barrel signed in gold on the grooved sighting flat, scroll engraved patent breech with platinum plug and three gold lines, scroll engraved tang, scroll engraved lock, varnished figured walnut half-stock (minor defects), chequered grip and fore-end, scroll engraved iron mounts including spur trigger-guard with pineapple finial, gold shield-shaped escutcheon, and horn fore-end cap (no provision for a ramrod), Birmingham proof marks
