CIRCA 1778, BLUE CROWNED SHIELD MARK
The well painted with a bird pecking at a branch, its plumage enriched in purple, yellow and black, the rim of the well moulded with stiff-leaves within puce and brown lines, the scroll-moulded spreading foot with scattered insects and leaves above a puce and yellow scroll-moulded footrim (some fritting to footrim, minor flaking to enamels)
