Designed as a central circular-cut diamond within a calibré-cut ruby surround, to the graduated collet-set diamond line, rose-cut diamond floral surmount and collet-set backchain (one diamond deficient), with brooch fitting, circa 1910, 38.1 cm. long, with French assay marks for gold and platinum (1910-1912), in original black leather fitted case stamped J.Fontan, Joaillier, Bordeaux
