A Berlin Kalathos Form cabinet-cup and saucer
Circa 1800, underglaze blue sceptre marks, cup with iron-red triangle mark and Pressnummer 37, saucer with painter's iron-red mark and Pressnummer 2 ,
The cup painted with three six-sided lozenge-shaped panels, one with a lady and a dog inscribed above Treue, another with Cupid with his bow and arrow inscribed above Liebe and another with an urn flanked by palm branches incribed above Bis dahin. on a pale-green band between cream bands with gilt foliage scrollwork, the saucer with a similar ground, the interior to the cup, handle and rims richly gilt
