A Berlin two handled oviform vase
painted with the Three Fates and two attendant putti, loosely draped, within a rectangular panel between two gilt bands with raised leaves, the reverse with a panel painted with theatrical masks of Comedy and Tragedy within an apricot ground panel of vine leaves on a broad marbled purple band between green ground sections, the shoulders moulded and gilt with flowerheads between meandering interlaced bands, the lower section moulded and gilt with a stiff leaf band, the black marbled neck pierced and applied with key handles moulded with a guilloche band, supported by a spreading foot and square plinth, blue sceptre mark, 19th century (cover lacking) -- 33.2cm. high
