Configuration (sugata): yari; length (nagasa): 1 shaku, 7 bu (32.6cm.); carving (horimono): koshi-hi.
Forging pattern (jihada): wood grain (itame).
Tempering pattern (hamon): large invections (gonome) and with free tempering (tobiyaki).
Point (boshi): medium round (chu-maru).
Tang (nakago). Shape (keitai): rectangular section and tapering; end (nakagojiri): squared (kiri-jiri); holes (mekugi-ana): one; signature (mei): Bitchu (no) Kuni Asabe (no) ju Otsuki Saburobeijo Kunishige saku.
Shirasaya with attestation by Homma Junji.
