A blue and white baluster vase, Kangxi (1662-1722)
painted with groups of immortals, warriors and officials engaged in conversation by a river bank amidst pine trees and rockwork, the reverse with two ladies and an attendant in a fenced garden, all between a cross-hatched zigzag border on the neck and a tooth pattern above the foot -- 10¾in. (27.3cm.) high, wood cover and stand.
