    GARY STEVENS

    Michael Gary Stevens was born on 27 March 1963 in Barrow-in-Furness, he joined Everton as an apprentice in July 1979 brfore turning professional in March 1981. An integral part of Everton's success in the mid-1980s winning the European Cup Winners Cup and two Football League Championships. He also appeared in three successive F.A.Cup finals, 1984, 85 and 86, picking up a winners medal in the 1984 final. He joined Glasgow Rangers in August 1988 where he continued his successful playing career winning many major Scottish honours with the Glasgow side
