THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1722, THE DUTCH DECORATION ALMOST CONTEMPORARY, DREHER'S X TO BOTH
Each painted in iron-red with 'a lady in the pavilion' pattern and enriched in gilding, the lady's hair and knife enriched in silver, the base of the interior of the teabowl with a flower-spray and six further smaller sprays below the rim, reddish brown line rims (wear to gilt scrolls on drapery of both, teabowl with shallow chip to footrim, further chipping to footrim and chip to rim, saucer with areas of wear to enamels and gilding, the silver black with oxidisation)
