THE PORCELAIN CIRCA 1720, SMUDGED LUSTRE INITIALS PERHAPS C S A, THE HINGED MOUNTS WITH AUGSBURG TOWN MARK AND EA FOR ELIAS ADAM
Gilded at Augsburg in the workshop of Bartholomäus Seuter, four of the facets with panels edged with foliage against the gilt ground, one panel with a bird perched on a branch, the other three with Oriental figures at various pursuits, the cover with a knop finial flanked by gilt scrolls and Oriental figures by tables on terraces (some rubbing to gilding, slight chip to footrim)
