This model, designed in 1901, was sold in several sizes by the Vereinigte Werksttten fr Kunst im Handwerk, Munich, until at least 1914; it was noticeably popular between 1901 and 1907. Exhibited with similarly decorated candlesticks, the candelabra was first shown at the I. Austellung fr Kunst im Handwerk that was held in the rooms of the old Bavarian National Museum in Munich in 1901.
