Decorated at Augsburg in the Auffenwerth workshop, each side with Orientals weighing tea and heating water on fenced terraces by a fountain, an urn, a tree and flowering shrubs, within shaped oval gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk cartouches enriched with iron-red scrolls, divided by sprays of indianische Blumen, the cover with Orientals on fenced terraces within shaped oval quatrefoil gilt cartouches divided by gilt Laub-und-Bandelwerk (slight reduction to edge of lip, section of rim of cover restored, firing fault to lower terminal, wear to gilding of footrim)
