19th Century of circular form, with a large central roundel decorated in a linear knot pattern within broad bands containing shaped panels decorated with scrolling foliage and calligraphic script, the rim reserved with radiating panels, all on a dense ground of fine linear patterns interspersed with arabesques -- 22½in.
