STAMPED BOUN THAN - CAMBODIA, T900, 20TH CENTURY
The cigar-box oblong and repoussé chased in high relief with foliate scrolls within plain and beaded borders, centring grotesque masks, the interior wood lined, marked underneath, contained in a fitted blue case, the cover applied with a gilt-metal badge, with a card printed 'Norodom Sihanouk du Cambodge'

H.M. King Norodom Sihanouk was born in Phnom Penh in October 1922 and has been identified as the politician who has held the greatest number of political offices, including King of Cambodia on two occasions. Sihanouk has also produced some 28 films.
No VAT will be charged on the hammer price, but VAT at 15% will be added to the buyer's premium which is invoiced on a VAT inclusive basis. Proceeds from this lot will be donated to charity.
