A Cantonese baluster vase with garlic neck and pierced lotus handles, painted and gilt with panels of dignitaries and ladies on terraces and birds and butterflies amongst flowers, all on a turquoise and dark blue ground reserved with bats in flight and scrolling foliage -- 14in. (35.5cm.) high; and a famille rose jar and domed cover with knop finial and moulded mask handles, decorated with panels of birds on rockwork on a ground of scrolling lotus flowers -- 13in. (33cm.) high, 19th Century. (2)
