A Cantonese famille rose punch bowl, 19th century
with high rounded sides, supported on a tall foot ring, the well and sides decorated with scenes of ladies and dignitaries in a garden engaged in leisurely pursuits, the exterior decorated with dignitaries and ladies at court and a group of horses and grooms, below a border with a variety of fruits and flowers reserved on a gilt ground -- 14in. (35.5cm.) diam.
