A Cantonese rectangular comb box and cover
decorated with a group of officials on a terrace, panels of birds amongst flowering branches and bats on a ground of scrolling foliage -- 7¼in. (18.5cms) long; a Cantonese soap box, liner and cover painted withfigrues at leisure in a garden on a similar ground to the previous item -- 57/8in. (15cms) wide; and a Cantonese oval box, cover and stand with fruit spray finial -- the stand 5¾in. (14.5cms) long, all 19th century.
