A CARVED WHITE JADE BOULDER
QING DYNASTY, 18TH CENTURY
The irregularly-shaped mountain boulder is finely carved to one side with an idyllic landscape, depicting an immortal holding a long lingzhi stem, walking beneath craggy rocks and bats flying above. The reverse is carved with a single lingzhi plant amidst further bats hovering above. The stone is of a milky-white tone with a slight celadon tinge.
