A CELADON AND RUSSET JADE BOULDER
19TH-20TH CENTURY
The boulder is carved to one side with a mountainous landscape scene of two scholars and their attendant below a pine tree and pavilion. The reverse is carved with a deer and wutong tree. The stone is of a pale celadon tone with areas of mottled brown and russet inclusions.
