A celadon and russet jade elephant and boy group
the elephant carved standing on four stout feet with his head sharply turned to the left, a young attendant standing to the rear, holding a vase containing a ruyi-spray, the saddle-cloth incised with a central shou roundel within a shaped quatrefoil cartouche, vases and fish amongst waves, wood stand -- 41/8in. (10.4cm.) long, (losses to the edges of one elephant's ear, natural flaws).
