of square sectioned form, decorated with incised swirls and confronting dragons on a hatchwork ground, the slightly domed cover carved in low relief with two dragons ,incised to base Fu gong zuo he zi sun bao zhi Pi -- 2¼in. (5.5cm.) wide approx., fitted wood stand.
From an English private collection acquired in China during the 1940's.
