A CELADON JADE CENSER AND COVER
Of compressed form, the rounded sides with a wide brimmed everted rim, on a slightly spreading foot, carved and pierced around the body with a band of Buddhist emblems amongst flowers and foliage, the domed cover similarly decorated and with a bud finial, the wide rim with a band of lotus, the stone of a greyish celadon tone with some russet inclusions
