A celadon jade scabbard slide, Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220) of slightly curved rectangular form with a rectangular loop on the underside, the top curved in low relief with C-scrolls terminating in a horned mythical beast mask with incised fangs, the stone of creamy celadon tone with russet inclusions -- 3 3/16in. (8.1cm.) long.
