The dial signed Samuel Betts Londini within the foliate engraved center with blued steel tulip-form hand, lacking alarm disc, narrow Roman chapter ring with trident half hour markers, the going train with verge escapement, the strike train with countwheel and strike on a bell secured by four straps to the urn finials within a fret-work gallery; alarm train removed, later backplate, on a later shaped oak bracket, bearing inventory disk 349 to the bracket
The clock: 9in. (13cm.) high, 3¼in. (8.5cm.) wide, 3in. (7.5cm.) deep
