A CHARLES II SILVER COMBINED THIMBLE & NEEDLE CASE,
MAKER'S MARK ONLY OF "IA" CROWNED, CIRCA 1680,
Engraved with stiff leafage, hinged cover to thimble compartment engraved with flower-head & small hinged cap to needle container, inscribed "MB" over "10", suspension loop at top, 3 in. long (7.8 cm.).
