Clement Louis Bigot started working as a cabinet maker in the 1820's. In 1855 he either retired or joined another craftman since his workshop took the name of C Bigot et Cie. The Duchesse du Berry and the Marechal Soult were among his clients. He distinguished himself by the quality of his furniture which was exhibited in the two first Universal Exhibitions.
