A Chinese blue and white jar and related domed cover with bronze Buddhistic lion finial painted with a continuous scene of ladies at literary pursuits in a fenced garden of prunus, bamboo and willow, the cover with boys playing in a garden (the jar with a chip to rim and cracked, the cover with replacement finial) -- 25½in. high, 17th Century.
